The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has announced an expansion of visa exemptions for Indian nationals who hold residency in the EU, US, or UK.

This update now allows individuals with tourist visas from these regions to enter the UAE.

Their stay can be extended beyond the initial visa period, as long as their visa and passport are valid for at least six months and they pay the required fees.

Visa fee for Indians

Additionally, the ICP has released a new fee schedule for services provided to Indian nationals, following a recent Cabinet decision.

The fees for a 14-day entry visa for Indian nationals and their family members holding residency visas from the US, EU, or UK are set at Dhs 100.

If they wish to extend their stay for another 14 days, the fee is Dhs 250. For a 60-day visa, the fee is also Dhs 250.

Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, the Director General of the ICP, explained that this decision supports the growing partnership between the UAE and India. It aims to strengthen economic ties, boost trade, attract investments, and enhance the UAE’s status as a global tourism and business hub.
