Etihad Airways starts flights to Nairobi

Etihad Airways becomes on of first airlines to use AI to enhance safety managements

Etihad Airways has stated that it will resume its flights to East Africa beginning on May 1, 2024, with the first day of operation for daily service to Nairobi.

The new route will help establish crucial cultural and economic relations between the United Arab Emirates and the powerhouse in East Africa by connecting Kenya’s capital with Etihad’s expanding global network.

Etihad Airways New Route to Nairobi

The flights will reestablish commercial non-stop passenger connections between the two cities, and tourists from Kenya will be able to connect with Etihad aircraft to destinations in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the United States of America (USA), Europe, and South-East Asia.

Airbus A320 Aircraft will be used

Etihad will begin operating daily flights to Nairobi using a contemporary Airbus A320 aircraft, The aircraft will feature both Business Class and Economy Class cabins in addition to the airline’s acclaimed level of service.

It should also be noted that Etihad Airways and Scandinavian Airlines have concluded a strategic codeshare agreement, This will allow customers of both airlines to experience more travel alternatives over the other airline’s Destination Networks.

The goal of this agreement is a smoother travel experience for our guests from Northern Europe to enjoy Abu Dhabi, with the ability to travel through our growing global network.
