Turkish Airlines has announced plans to introduce two daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Istanbul starting October 26, 2025, strengthening its presence in the UAE and offering passengers more travel options across its global network.
Expanded UAE operations
The airline will increase its Abu Dhabi–Istanbul service from ten to fourteen weekly flights, providing travelers with greater flexibility and smoother connections to more than 350 destinations worldwide through Istanbul Airport.
The new schedule includes two daily departures from Abu Dhabi: flight TK869 at 1:35 a.m. and flight TK867 at 7:55 a.m., both arriving in Istanbul in the morning.
44 years of service
The expansion coincides with Turkish Airlines’ 44th year of operations in the UAE, highlighting its continued role in linking the Emirates to international destinations.
“The introduction of double daily flights from Abu Dhabi marks not only a culmination of over four decades of flag carrier’s presence in the UAE, but also a renewed commitment to offering our guests more choice, convenience, and connectivity,” said Erol Şenol, Vice President, Sales (Middle East and Cyprus) at Turkish Airlines.
“We are proud to serve as a bridge between Türkiye and the world through our Istanbul hub, bringing people, cultures, and opportunities closer together.”
Global connectivity
Recognized by Guinness World Records for flying to the most countries worldwide, Turkish Airlines continues to expand its network and strengthen its position as one of the leading international carriers.
