Tanishq has opened a new flagship store in Dubai’s Meena Bazaar, marking its first major launch in the GCC since the Titan–Damas merger. The opening in one of the city’s busiest jewellery districts signals a broader regional expansion for the brand.

The Meena Bazaar location introduces expanded gold and diamond collections, along with dedicated bridal and high-end sections. The store also houses Tanishq’s first Diamond Excellence Centre outside India, offering enhanced certification processes and personalised diamond services.
The store was inaugurated by C.K. Venkataraman, Managing Director of Titan Company Limited. With his retirement scheduled for January, the event marked his final GCC store launch.
Venkataraman said the choice of Meena Bazaar reflects the area’s longstanding link to the brand. “He highlighted Meena Bazaar’s role in Tanishq’s success, noting that the neighbourhood’s enduring consumer trust and vibrancy made it the natural choice for a larger, more future-ready flagship that reflects the scale of Titan’s ambitions in the region.”
Ajoy Chawla, CEO of the Jewellery Division at Titan Company Limited, described the Middle East as a key growth market. “He emphasised that the flagship combines richer assortments, specialised zones, and the Diamond Excellence Centre to deliver a world-class retail environment where heritage, innovation, and design are brought together under one roof.”
Ananthanarayanan Hariharan, CEO of Damas Jewellery, said the new store reflects the early strengths of the Titan–Damas partnership.
“He noted that customers will experience richer collections, higher service standards, and a more seamless, integrated retail journey, with this store setting a new benchmark for what a neighbourhood jewellery destination can be in Dubai.”
The flagship is aimed at both long-time Meena Bazaar customers and newer shoppers seeking contemporary designs. Titan said the opening fits into its wider strategy to develop a future-ready jewellery network across the region through flagship stores and updated retail formats.
