Khalid Al Kindi said: “Sharjah Taxi takes great pride in this tribute, as it showcases our dedication to embracing innovative, sustainable strategies that prioritise customer satisfaction.

“We are excited to continue building a bright future that aligns with the vision and reputation of Sharjah. Our goal is to create a unique global experience in the taxi industry by offering a wide range of services, amenities, and modern hybrid taxis to facilitate the transportation needs of our customers.

“Through our commitment to quality, convenience, and sustainability, we strive to enhance customer well-being and achieve our ambitious goals.”

Sharjah has a taxi fleet consisting of approximately 750 vehicles with diverse models.

All of these vehicles are equipped with reservation and distribution devices (IVD) that enable communication with the reservation and distribution centre. The centre acts as an intermediary between the customers requesting service and the taxis available for hire.

The IVD devices facilitate the ordering process by transmitting requests and receiving instructions from the centre.
