SeaWorld® Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, has introduced an exciting new experience for guests — the ‘SeaSub’ submersible journey. This cutting-edge, world-first submersible allows visitors to explore the region’s largest multi-species marine life aquarium, offering a unique opportunity to view marine life from a depth of more than 20 meters.
The 30-minute tour will take guests on an unforgettable underwater adventure, with sights of sharks, rays, and vibrant schooling fish.
This new addition highlights SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s commitment to providing immersive and educational experiences for visitors, building on popular offerings like SeaVenture, SeaDive, and animal encounters with penguins and walruses.
First-ever classed submersible for aquarium setting
The SeaSub is the first submersible ever designed, built, and certified specifically for an aquarium setting. It accommodates four guests along with trained pilots, providing an intimate and up-close view of marine life.
Rob Yordi, General Curator at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, commented, “Our goal is to make SeaWorld Abu Dhabi a unique and exciting destination, balancing education, conservation, and entertainment.”
New thrills and encounters at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi
In addition to SeaSub, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi has also launched two new SeaWorld Encounters: ‘Discover Scuba Diving’ and ‘Kayak on the Tropical Lagoon.’
In the Discover Scuba Diving experience, guests can explore the underwater world without a diving certificate, while Kayak on the Tropical Lagoon invites visitors to paddle through a dolphin habitat and learn about marine life from SeaWorld’s zoological team.
SeaWorld Abu Dhabi continues to offer innovative marine life experiences that emphasize education and conservation. With an array of new experiences, guests can dive deeper into the wonders of the ocean and gain a greater understanding of the vibrant marine world.
