Emirates Skywards has announced an expansion of its loyalty programme to include flydubai, allowing members to redeem Skywards Miles for Classic Rewards on all flydubai flights, starting from 5,000 Miles. This enhancement builds upon the existing partnership between Emirates and flydubai, offering customers a seamless travel experience across both airlines.
The agreement was signed in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Group and Chairman of flydubai, along with senior executives from both airlines.
Redeem miles for flights
With this update, Emirates Skywards members can now use their Miles to book full flight tickets on flydubai flights through the Classic Rewards programme. Additionally, members can take advantage of revised Cash+Miles rates, allowing them to pay for tickets with a combination of Skywards Miles and cash. These options are available on emirates.com and flydubai.com, respectively.
Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, expressed enthusiasm about the enhancement, stating, “We’re very pleased to announce this exciting enhancement to our loyalty programme with flydubai. Starting today, members can use their Skywards Miles for Classic Rewards on all flydubai flights, accessing a network of more than 130 destinations served by the carrier. Streamlined travel experience for members
The integration of flydubai into the Emirates Skywards programme provides members with greater flexibility and value when redeeming their Miles. In addition to booking flights, members can also use their Miles to pay for optional extras such as pre-ordered meals and extra legroom seats on flydubai flights. There are no blackout dates, and no minimum balance of Skywards Miles is required, making it easier for members to use their Miles as they wish.
