Dubai residents have a final chance to register for the “A Dubai Invite” programme, after demand pushed its capacity to three times the original allocation since its launch in July.
Around 20,000 successful applicants have already received benefits, while more are expected to be confirmed as their invited visitors arrive. The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) said registrations are now nearing the programme’s final capacity.
Registration deadline
Residents with visitors arriving in Dubai between July 20 and October 31, 2026, can register their guests through the official programme platform. Registrations will remain open while benefit packages are still available.
Visitor arrivals are verified through a unified process supported by the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA-Dubai). Once verified, eligible residents can access benefits from participating hotels, attractions, restaurants and lifestyle venues.
Noor Al Geziry, AVP, Special Projects & MENA at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), said: “The response to ‘A Dubai Invite’ has been incredibly positive, and it reaffirms that our residents are our greatest advocates. This programme was always intended as a way of saying thank you to the people who call Dubai home, and who proudly share this city with their friends and family. We are grateful to all our partners across the public and private sectors whose collaboration has made this programme possible. As a result of resident demand, we have worked with our partners to increase the programme’s capacity three times since its launch. Together, we have shown what is possible through genuine partnership, and when we collectively embrace the ‘Dubai-it’ mindset.”
Benefits across Dubai
The benefits are valid until December 31, 2026, and include offers at attractions such as Aquaventure Waterpark, IMG Worlds of Adventure and Grand Hyatt Waterpark.
Participating food and beverage venues include Asia Asia, Ula, Papas, The 305 and Lock, Stock & Barrel. Residents can also access discounts and resort credits at selected hotels, including W Dubai Mina Seyahi, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark, Melia Desert Palm and ME Dubai by Melia, along with participating IHG Hotels & Resorts properties in Dubai.
Supporting family visits
The programme was developed through collaboration between public and private sector partners and builds on DET’s focus on the Visiting Friends and Relatives segment.
It also follows campaigns such as “Dubai. If You Go, You Know”, which highlight the role of residents in sharing their experiences of Dubai with visitors.
DET said eligible residents should register soon as the remaining benefit packages are expected to be taken up.
