Ramco celebrates two decades of regional growth at Dubai event

Ramco Systems marked 20 years of operations in the Middle East with a full-day event in Dubai that brought together customers, partners, and industry leaders to review the company’s regional journey and discuss emerging trends in enterprise technology.

HR and payroll focus

The first half of the Ramco@20 event gathered senior HR and payroll professionals for discussions on how organisations in the region are shifting towards more intuitive and employee-focused workforce models. Panelists looked at the balance between automation and human interaction, the growing use of AI in HR processes, and the role of payroll in strengthening employee trust.

Technology roadmap

In the second session, Ramco welcomed customers from its business units, including Global Payroll, Aviation MRO, ERP, Services Resource Planning and Logistics. The company’s leadership outlined its technology direction, highlighting a move from traditional Systems of Record to Systems of Intelligence supported by AI-native tools, agentic workflows, and conversational interfaces.

The update also covered Ramco’s ongoing investments in platform upgrades and local initiatives aimed at supporting long-term regional growth.

AI takes centre stage

While talking to the media, Ramco Systems’ Managing Director Abinav Raja and Chief Operating Officer Sandesh Bilagi shared insights on the company’s two-decade journey in the region and its plans for the future.

They highlighted the growing role of AI in enterprise technology and discussed how Ramco is integrating these capabilities across its platforms. The officials also presented case studies showing how the company’s solutions have supported organisations in the UAE in improving efficiency and achieving stronger business outcomes.

They also highlighted the rapid adoption of AI in the UAE, noting that the country consistently leads the region in embracing new technologies.

Abinav Raja said: “The Middle East has been a cornerstone of Ramco’s growth story for two decades and has shaped our thinking in profound ways. The region’s appetite for transformation has inspired us to design solutions that combine global best practices with local relevance.

“This milestone is built on the trust and partnership of our customers, and our commitment is clear: double down on AI-native, API-first applications that incorporate special features aligned with the region, platform modernization, and customer-centricity. We are shaping the future of enterprise technology with solutions enabling businesses to focus on what truly matters: growth and people.”

Sandesh Bilagi said: “Our presence in the Middle East has been built on strong partnerships and a commitment to delivering outcomes. This region is not merely a market for us, but also a proving ground for ideas that redefine global enterprise technology.”
