Global participation
Dubai Airshow 2025 will run from November 17 to 21 at Dubai World Central under the theme “The Future is Here.”
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the event is expected to be the biggest edition to date, bringing together global leaders in aerospace, aviation and defence.
This year, more than 1,500 exhibitors are taking part, including 440 newcomers and 21 national pavilions. Organisers expect 148,000 trade visitors and 490 civil and military delegations from 115 countries. The show also features 98 chalets, expanded exhibition space and a dedicated area for 120 startups and 50 investors.
Largest space pavilion
The event will host the largest Space Pavilion in its history, organised with the UAE Space Agency. International agencies, companies and researchers will gather to discuss technology, sustainability and future missions. The two-day Space Conference will include more than 50 specialists and astronauts.
Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency, said: “Dubai Airshow represents a leading global platform to showcase the remarkable progress the UAE has achieved in the space sector. This is a direct outcome of our efforts to translate the objectives of the National Space Strategy 2030 into reality, contributing to the creation of a comprehensive and sustainable space economy.”
He added: “This extensive participation reflects the growing international confidence in the UAE’s space ecosystem and supports the nation’s journey of developing a partnership-based space economy.”
Defence displays
Major General Mubarak Saeed bin Ghafan Al Jabri, Executive Director of the Military Committee, said: “Dubai Airshow serves as a strategic platform to showcase the UAE’s commitment to defence innovation and national security through investment in advanced technologies, international partnerships and fostering a domestic industrial ecosystem.”
The airshow will host its most extensive conference programme, featuring more than 450 speakers across 12 tracks. Topics include MRO, Passenger Experience, Airport Tech, Workforce Development and Cybersecurity. The new Airport and Airline Keynotes will be hosted by Dubai Airports.
Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, said: “Dubai Airports is proud to host the Airport and Airline Keynotes for the first time, uniting more than 450 influential voices shaping the future of flight.”
eVTOL debut
Advanced Air Mobility will be a major focus this year. For the first time, electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft will take part in the flying display, including Joby Aviation’s eVTOL.
Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, said: “For the first time in Dubai Airshow’s history, eVTOL aircraft will join the flying display — marking a new era in urban air mobility.”
The AAM Pavilion will highlight new electric aircraft and future mobility concepts.
Innovation zones
A new Inspiration Zone will host startup pitches and early-stage innovations, while the NextGen Leaders programme will showcase university projects. A Wellness Zone will offer visitors a space to rest during the packed schedule. Vista will return as the main startup hub for aviation and aerospace innovators.
Sustainability will be central to this year’s event. Initiatives include the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel for participating aircraft, propane and electric ground equipment with Jetex, renewable-powered exhibition halls, and reusable stand designs under the Better Stands Programme. Hydration stations and LEED-certified accommodation will also support responsible operations.
New evening experiences
For the first time, the show will extend into the evening with special sessions and entertainment. Highlights include Party on the Runway at Skydive Dubai and Airshow After Dark, featuring live performances and a drone show.
The public SkyView arena will be open throughout the week, offering access to the flying displays, meet-the-pilot sessions, entertainment, and a new VIP viewing area for families and aviation enthusiasts.
