Nest Hotel has 395 rooms and is independently managed by Arada Hospitality and Entertainment. It is located next to the Nest Campus student housing complex and is designed to serve business travellers, families, leisure visitors, long-stay guests, sports groups, students and university faculty.

The midscale hotel brand is planned for future expansion within the UAE and internationally, either as standalone hotels or alongside the Nest Campus concept.

Facilities and services

The hotel includes lounges, co-working spaces, dining outlets and direct access to East Boulevard at Aljada, which features more than 100 restaurants, retail outlets, sports and entertainment venues.

Smart technology is used across the guest experience, with a dedicated website enabling digital check-in, room access, booking management and navigation of Aljada services. Additional features include eBike rentals, dining reservations and high-speed Wi-Fi.

Student-led design

Nest Hotel was developed with input from students at Sharjah’s University City and residents of the Nest Campus. Their feedback helped shape room layouts, co-working areas and shared spaces. The hotel also offers part-time employment opportunities for students seeking hospitality experience during their studies.

Amit Arora, Chief Operating Officer of Arada Hospitality and Entertainment, said: “We’re thrilled to open bookings for travellers to experience Sharjah in a whole new way. Nest Hotel offers a modern stay that captures the lifestyle spirit of Aljada — family-oriented, connected and full of life. It’s the first property ideally located near Sharjah International Airport and University City, catering to growing demand with a variety of room types and smart amenities for students, their families and business travellers alike.”

Rooms and amenities

Room categories include Solo, Stylish, Signature, Family and Suites, with single, twin, king and suite options. The hotel is the first in Sharjah to offer guaranteed interconnecting family rooms and provides a flexible 24-hour check-in and check-out policy. A complimentary shuttle service operates between the hotel and Sharjah International Airport.

All rooms include high-speed internet, smart TVs and tea and coffee facilities. Onsite amenities include an all-day dining restaurant, café, swimming pool, valet parking and complimentary access to the Wellfit Sarab gym. Guests also receive discounts at selected Aljada dining outlets, including Kashtat Amina, Boost and Hungry Wolves.

Location and access

Nest Hotel offers direct access to Al Dhaid Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311). It is located five minutes from Sharjah International Airport and close to University City, the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, the Sharjah Airport International Free Zone and the planned Etihad Rail station.

The hotel is positioned to support demand from Sharjah’s meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions sector, as well as leisure tourism linked to venues such as YourSpace at Aljada, Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre and the House of Wisdom.

Aljada development

Nest Hotel is the first opening in Arada’s growing hospitality portfolio, which is expected to deliver 1,650 hotel keys across Sharjah. Future projects include Akala Hotel Dubai and partnerships with Vida, Rove and Anantara.

Aljada is home to around 20,000 residents and combines residential areas with retail, entertainment, education, wellness, hospitality and commercial facilities. Madar Mall, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, is scheduled for completion in 2028. Aljada welcomed 8 million visitors in 2024 and is projected to attract up to 20 million visits annually once fully developed.
