Two Indians enter Mahzooz history
Mahzooz, the UAE’s leading weekly draw whose mission is to change people’s lives, has once again made dreams come true for two fortunate winners who emerged as millionaires in the 139th draw held on Saturday, 29th July.
Two lucky Mahzooz winners, Sachin and Gowtham, have won the staggering top prize of AED 20,000,000 and the guaranteed raffle prize of AED 1,000,000 respectively.
Sachin, a 47-year-old CAD technician working in a private company, hails from Mumbai, India, and has been residing in Dubai for an impressive 25 years.
Serendipitously, the fateful day Sachin became a millionaire coincided with his newest furry addition to the family, a kitten he had just brought home on Saturday morning.
Sachin humorously attributes his win to the good luck brought by the adorable feline. The devoted family man lives with his loving wife and three children. Overwhelmed with excitement, he shared his astonishment when he discovered he was the lucky winner on a Sunday morning after checking his Mahzooz account.
Speechless and in shock, Sachin immediately informed his wife, who was just as pleasantly surprised.
“I have been participating in Mahzooz every week, hoping for a big win one day. This victory is a life-changer for my family and me. Not sure what role my kitten has played in this win, but I know it brought me luck,” said Sachin.
Gowtham, the recipient of the guaranteed raffle draw of AED 1,000,000, was equally overjoyed when he discovered his triumph through an email notification on Saturday.
The 27-year-old project engineer has been residing in the UAE for four years and has been participating in Mahzooz for one year. Thrilled by his win, Gowtham revealed that he plans to utilize his winnings to build a home in hometown.
Both winners expressed their gratitude to Mahzooz for providing them with this incredible opportunity, transforming their lives in ways they had never imagined. The weekly live draw has created numerous millionaires, and its popularity continues to grow as more participants join the exciting game.
Speaking to the press, Suzan Kazzi, Head of Communications and CSR at EWINGS, Managing Operator of Mahzooz, expressed her elation at the latest draw results, stating, “It comes as no surprise to witness two fortunate winners from India in the same draw. The vibrant Indian community constitutes the largest base of enthusiastic participants and winners at Mahzooz. With a remarkable AED 164,000,000 awarded to 105,000 Indian winners, the popularity of Mahzooz among NRIs (Non-Resident Indians) is experiencing exponential growth. Sachin and Gowtham’s triumphs add to the milestone of achieving 20 Indian millionaires and a total of 55 millionaires, as we continue to change lives and inspire dreams through Mahzooz.”

Additionally, John plans to support his father’s farming business back home by sending some of the prize money to further enhance their family’s livelihood.
Filled with joy and gratitude, John conveyed his heartfelt sentiments about the life-changing win, “This is the first time I win anything in my entire life. Mahzooz has once again proven to be a game-changer for many expats living in the UAE and abroad. This time, the Mahzooz effect touched the life of a lucky Indian expat, Aijaz, who won last week’s guaranteed raffle draw prize of AED 1,000,000 and became the draw’s 52nd millionaire.
Aijaz, a 49-year-old United Arab Emirates resident who heads the distribution department at a private company, has been participating in Mahzooz since its launch in November 2020.
Last Saturday, Aijaz was in Abu Dhabi visiting his sister, so he missed the live draw, but during his late-night email check after coming back home, he found a congratulatory email from Mahzooz announcing the life changing news. Having initially expected a smaller prize, Aijaz was shocked and delighted to learn he had won AED 1,000,000.
“Quite frankly, I was shocked. In order to comprehend the email, I had to read it two to three times. I also checked my Mahzooz account to see what my credit amount was. The next day, I received a call from Mahzooz, which confirmed my big win,” recounts an overjoyed Aijaz.
Aijaz, a family man with a wife and three children aged 21, 17, and 14, has inspired hundreds of individuals in his private circle to try their luck over the years. He intends to use his winnings to fund his daughter’s higher education as well as his aunt’s cancer treatment and therapy for his mother-in-law, who is in a coma at an Indian hospital.

It was an imaginably lucky week for Amin, a Syrian expat who took part in the 132nd Mahzooz weekly draw, as he became Mahzooz’s 47th millionaire after winning the guaranteed raffle prize of AED1,000,000 on Saturday 10 June 2023.

The 39-year-old and father of three-month-old baby found himself wealthy overnight after a consistent participation in Mahzooz that lasted almost two years, which has awarded him smaller prizes in the past. The frequent winning kept Amin motivated to continue participating in Mahzooz, hoping to become a millionaire one day.
As a result of this life-changing windfall, Amin says he will be able to realize his long-held dreams: “I was driving at 10pm when the live draw occurred. I decided to pull over to check the Mahzooz website. The first thing I noticed was the nationality of the winner, then I read my name next to it. I couldn’t believe it at first, so I decided to continue driving while many thoughts were brewing in my head. When I reached home, I took a deep breath and double-checked my Mahzooz account to ensure that I was indeed the winner of AED1,000,000. When reality finally hit me, I hugged my son and told him that his future is now secure thanks to Mahzooz. What an unexpected surprise!”

I was happily surprised to learn that I became a millionaire when my brother, who is staying with his family in Abu Dhabi and my friend notified me via text message. This is my first attempt ever, and although I had a genuine presentiment I would win with Mahzooz, I seriously did not anticipate attracting such a huge amount on my first trial.”
After discovering Mahzooz through social media, Mireille decided to try her luck on Saturday 3 June at the insistence of her brother.
“My brother and I have already decided that some of this windfall will be donated to charity, because when you are grateful, you feel like sharing your good fortune with others. Although we are still contemplating how to utilize my win wisely, we will be using part of the money for small investments that we will be studying soon” she concluded.

“While money does not buy happiness, I believe it can bring comfort and security to the life of a person. This is what the prize is going to do for my family,” an elated Sahar said.
“This is not the first time I have won with Mahzooz. In fact, the year started off on a good note for me, as I have won the third prize in January, having scored three out of 5 numbers.
