Global Village will celebrate Diwali from November 6 to 10, featuring a 600-drone show, Indian food stalls, cultural activities and family entertainment.

Global Village Diwali events and dates

The five-day celebration will bring Indian festive traditions, music, food and family activities to Global Village in Dubai. The programme includes a special drone display on November 8 at 8pm, with 600 drones creating Diwali-inspired formations above the Stunt Arena and Syria Pavilion.

The celebrations are part of Global Village’s seasonal entertainment programme, with access to the listed experiences included in the standard entry ticket.

New musical experience and family activities

On November 6, Global Village will introduce a traditional South Asian musical gathering known as a Baithak for the first time at the destination.

The event will take place on the Main Stage from 8pm to 9pm in collaboration with City FM. Visitors will be able to sing along and interact with the performing artists.

The programme continues on November 7 with interactive games and prize opportunities.

Families can also visit the Diwali Mela, organised in collaboration with India Pavilion, at the Commercial Activation area. The market will offer festive decorations, gifts, traditional snacks and treats.

Children can take part in Diwali-themed activities, including face painting, diya colouring and rangoli making.

Indian food and Diwali shopping

Food will be another part of the celebrations, with Indian restaurants including Indian Chef and Grand Dhaba serving traditional dishes.

Visitors can also explore the Indian Chaat Bazaar, featuring popular street food such as pani puri, chaat, pav bhaji, chole bhature and desi noodles, alongside a selection of traditional Indian sweets.

Festive decorations, including Diwali signboards and illuminated lamp posts along World Avenue, will add to the atmosphere.

Entry to the Diwali experiences is included in the Global Village entry ticket. Tickets can be purchased through the destination’s official website, mobile app or gate counters.

The celebrations run from November 6 to 10, 2026, with the drone show scheduled for November 8 at 8pm.
