Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced all public parking will be free of charge from the first day of Eid Al Fitr until the end of the third day, except for multi-storey parking facilities. Regular tariff charges will resume from the fourth day of Eid.
RTA announced the business hours for all its services during Eid Al Fitr holiday 1447 AH / 2026, from Thursday, March 19, to Saturday, March 21.
The revised schedules cover Customer Happiness Centres, paid parking zones, public buses, Dubai Metro and Tram services, marine transport services, and service provider centres (vehicle technical inspection).
Service provider centres (vehicle technical inspection) will be closed during Eid Al Fitr holiday from Thursday to Saturday.
Technical inspection services will resume on Sunday at the following centres: Tasjeel Al Twar, AutoPro Al Mankhool, Tasjeel Al Awir, Tasjeel Discovery Gardens, Al Yalayis, Shamil Al Muhaisnah, Al Mutakamela Al Quoz, and Shamil Nad Al Hamar. If the Holy Month of Ramadan completes 30 days, the holiday will be extended until Sunday to include all service provider centres.
All Customer Happiness Centres will also be closed during Eid Al Fitr holiday. However, the Customer Happiness Centre at Umm Ramool, and Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar, Al Kifaf, and RTA Head Office will continue to operate around the clock as usual.
Dubai Metro timings
Red Line and Green Line stations of Dubai Metro will operate from Wednesday to Saturday, from 5:00 am to 1:00 am (next day), and on Sunday from 8:00 am to 1:00 am (next day).
Dubai Tram will operate from Wednesday to Saturday from 6:00 am to 1:00 am (next day), and on Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:00 am (next day).
To view changes to public bus (Dubai Bus) and marine transport services — including the Water Taxi, Dubai Ferry, abras, and electric heritage abras — during Eid Al Fitr holiday, customers are advised to check S’hail app (available on Google Play, App Store and App Gallery), or scan the QR code to access the latest schedules and updates.
Customers are advised that Bus Route E100 will not operate from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station from the afternoon of March 18 until March 22.
During this period, please use Bus Route E101 will operate from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi. Bus Route E102 will operate from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Musaffah only from March 19 until March 22, 2026.
