Deep Dive Dubai has introduced a new underwater attraction, Sunken City Walk, offering a guided experience through an artificial submerged city.
Designed for beginners, the hour-long activity does not require any swimming skills or diving certifications, making it accessible to a wide range of visitors.

Participants begin with a safety briefing before changing into wetsuits and equipment provided on-site. Accompanied by trained instructors, guests then take a 20-minute walk underwater, passing by scenes resembling a movie set, including a swing, a motorbike, and a café table. The experience is open to individuals aged 10 and above.
Offered at an introductory price of Dhs600, the activity also includes the option of purchasing a 30-second keepsake video for Dhs200. Four time slots are currently available daily at 11am, 12pm, 2pm, and 3pm.
A growing tourism trend
Jarrod Jablonski, Director at Deep Dive Dubai, said: “With Sunken City Walk, we’re continuing to shape Dubai’s reputation as a city of unforgettable experiences. It’s a unique attraction that reflects Dubai’s spirit, where visitors can discover adventure in ways they never thought possible.”
The launch aligns with growing demand for experience-based tourism. According to Shamal’s Experience Economy Report, 75% of UAE residents are more inclined to spend on experiences, with 80% allocating a specific monthly budget for them.
Part of wider tourism push
The opening of Sunken City Walk also supports Dubai’s wider tourism strategy. The city welcomed 9.88 million international visitors in the first half of 2025, marking a 6% year-on-year increase, according to Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).
In addition to the new attraction, Deep Dive Dubai continues to offer a range of diving activities, including scuba diving, freediving, and training courses for various skill levels.
