A new partnership between Salik, Parkonic, and Dubai Holding will introduce the region’s first fully autonomous, AI-powered on-street and off-street parking system across several major communities in Dubai, covering over 36,000 parking spaces.
Smart mobility rollout
The initiative, which aligns with Dubai’s Smart City 2030 and Future Mobility Vision, aims to deliver a fully digital parking experience.
The new system will eliminate the need for tickets, barriers, or manual inspection, offering seamless, zero-interaction parking for users.
Parkonic’s AI-based platform will work in tandem with Salik’s payment infrastructure, enabling cashless, automatic transactions. The integration is designed to simplify movement and reduce common parking issues such as overstays and fines.
Integration and access
The solution will be implemented across select Dubai Holding communities, providing residents and visitors with access to a more efficient parking system. Features include multilingual interfaces, automatic billing, and no physical interaction.
“This partnership is a milestone for urban mobility in Dubai. Together with Salik and Dubai Holding, we’re building a future where parking is seamless, intelligent, and user-centric. Dubai Holding’s trust in Parkonic reflects our innovation and dedication. This collaboration goes beyond parking — it’s about preparing for autonomous vehicles, AI-driven services, and a fully integrated mobility ecosystem. Dubai is leading the way, and Parkonic is proud to be at its core,” said Imad Alameddine, CEO of Parkonic.
Support for sustainability goals
The project is expected to help reduce traffic congestion and lower carbon emissions, directly supporting Dubai’s Net Zero strategy. Developed and operated locally, the system marks a step forward in future-ready infrastructure in the UAE.
Salik and Parkonic say the collaboration reflects their shared goal of enhancing intelligent urban mobility while maintaining ease and convenience for users.
