The Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) is gearing up for its 31st edition, set to take place from February 19-23, 2025, at Dubai Harbour.
The event, which attracts more than 30,000 visitors annually, will showcase over 200 yachts and watercraft from top brands like Azimut, Ferretti, Gulf Craft, Sunseeker, and Yachts One. With a focus on innovation and sustainability, the show is set to be a major highlight in Dubai’s maritime calendar.
Dubai International Boat Show 2025
The Dubai International Boat Show is a premier event for the global maritime community, offering everything from luxurious yachts to marine technology and waterfront real estate. This year, it will feature a dedicated brokerage section for pre-owned yachts, an Innovation Zone for small marine tech businesses, and new opportunities for networking and industry collaboration.
Sustainability focus
As sustainability becomes a key priority in the maritime industry and across the UAE, DIBS 2025 will shine a light on the sector’s ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental impact. The event aligns with the UAE’s Green Agenda 2030, demonstrating a commitment to greener practices in yachting and beyond.
“Entering its 31st edition, the Dubai International Boat Show continues to evolve in response to the shifting dynamic of the maritime industry,” said Trixie LohMirmand, Executive Vice President of Dubai World Trade Centre. “This year, we are introducing new avenues to expand opportunities for our audience — from a dedicated brokerage section, where buyers can explore a premium selection of pre-owned yachts through expert intermediaries, to an Innovation Zone designed to empower SMEs driving the future of marine technology.”
A global hub for maritime innovation
DIBS continues to enhance Dubai’s reputation as a key destination for yachting and maritime activities. With yacht visits to the UAE rising by over 12% in the 2023/2024 season, the event further strengthens the city’s position as a global maritime hub.
“The Dubai International Boat Show has always been more than an exhibition for Gulf Craft – it is a celebration of the incredible journey Dubai has taken to become a global marine and superyacht hub,” said Mohammed Alshaali, Chairman of Gulf Craft. “We are honoured to be part of this iconic event that continues to set new standards for the industry and the region.”
DIBS 2025 is expected to welcome visitors from over 60 countries, including new participants from Croatia, Japan, Luxembourg, Romania, Singapore, and Slovenia. The event will also play a significant role in Dubai’s tourism boom, attracting an international audience eager to explore the latest in luxury yachts and marine lifestyle.
Supporting startups
This year, DIBS will feature an Innovation Hub to spotlight emerging SMEs in the maritime sector. This new platform aims to foster innovation and provide a space for startups to showcase their work. The show will also highlight luxury real estate developments with waterfront properties from leading developers like Damac, Sobha Realty, and Omniyat. Additionally, a new brokerage section will feature top firms such as Burgess, Behnemar, and Royal Yachts.
For the first time, DIBS will also introduce a wellbeing lounge for boat crew and captains, offering a space to relax and learn how to maintain their health during long voyages.
Returning features and highlights
Several popular features will return to the show this year. DIVE MENA, the region’s only dedicated diving showcase, will return with expanded demonstrations and activities. The Proudly UAE initiative will celebrate the country’s maritime heritage with locally made vessels. Supercar Avenue will showcase some of the world’s most exclusive performance cars, and specialized trade expos will cover Equipment Supplies & Services and Marine Luxury & Lifestyle.
The Annual Dubai Boat Show Leisure Yachting Conference will also return on February 18, 2025, gathering 200 experts to discuss the latest trends in the maritime industry, with a focus on innovation and the future of yachting.
