Dubai’s General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA Dubai) has launched the Dubai Cycling Pass, a new initiative aimed at encouraging healthy lifestyles and promoting the emirate as a destination for sport and wellbeing.

The initiative was introduced in partnership with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and the Dubai Sports Council.

The Dubai Cycling Pass was officially launched on Saturday at the Nad Al Sheba Cycling Track. The event was attended by Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, along with senior government officials and community representatives.

Hundreds of citizens, residents, tourists and cycling enthusiasts participated in the opening activities, highlighting broad public interest and community involvement.

Launched under the slogan “From the Airport to the Track”, the initiative is designed to integrate sport into daily urban life and tourism experiences. It aims to encourage visitors and residents to explore Dubai through cycling while supporting physical activity and wellbeing.

The Dubai Cycling Pass introduces participants to nine approved cycling tracks across the emirate. The routes are designed to suit all skill levels, including families, amateur riders and professional cyclists.

The tracks span urban, coastal and natural settings, offering cyclists a variety of environments that reflect Dubai’s diverse landscape and lifestyle.
