This smart transport option allows residents to book a ride using a mobile app, helping them reach their destinations quickly while reducing traffic congestion.
Areas where bus on demand is available
RTA’s Bus-On-Demand service now covers key areas across Dubai, including the latest additions:

✅ Barsha Heights
✅ Al Barsha
✅ Dubai Silicon Oasis
✅ Al Nahda
✅ Business Bay (added in February last year)
✅ Downtown Dubai (added at the end of 2024)

The service operates through the Dubai Bus-On-Demand app, available on the Apple Store and Google Play. Users can:

“The service is experiencing strong demand from a wide segment of public transport users, especially with the latest expansion covering key areas and enabling seamless travel between the two adjacent zones. This integration strengthens the public transport network and ensures faster, safer journeys for commuters,” according to Adel Shakri, Director of Planning and Business Development at RTA’s Public Transport Agency.
