Union Coop has reported a surge in retail activity across the UAE during the back-to-school season, with August marking a period of high demand as families prepared for the new academic year.

To meet increased demand, Union Coop rolled out three major promotional campaigns featuring discounts of up to 50% on a wide range of products, including school supplies, electronics, food, and other consumer goods.

The cooperative also focused on promoting locally made products by partnering with UAE-based suppliers and small businesses. This approach aimed to support the national economy and promote sustainable retail practices.

As part of its community engagement, Union Coop collaborated with various partners to distribute gifts to students and host events throughout the year. These efforts aim to strengthen the cooperative’s role as a community-oriented retail organisation.

Union Coop highlighted its continued efforts to offer a complete shopping experience, combining affordability with quality. It also pointed to the importance of maintaining a balance between in-store and online shopping, which it says encourages competition, innovation, and improved customer satisfaction.
