Arabian Travel Market (ATM) has announced the launch of ATM Travel Tech, a new co-located event set to debut during ATM 2026, taking place from May 4 to 7, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Previously a growing sector within the ATM show floor, travel technology will now be hosted across two dedicated halls. The expansion reflects the increasing role of digital innovation in reshaping the global travel industry.
Showcase of new technologies
Aligned with the 2026 theme, “Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology,” ATM Travel Tech will highlight advancements in artificial intelligence, immersive commerce, smart mobility, fintech, cybersecurity, and sustainability.
The event is expected to feature over 180 exhibitors from 30 countries, including companies such as Sabre, Amadeus, Travelport, HBX Group, WebBeds, and Infinios Financial Services. Startups and scale-ups will also showcase solutions across automation, payments, and customer experience.
“As travel technology evolves at an unprecedented pace, we have evolved the scale, ecosystem and offering of ATM Travel Tech to a fully co-located event,” said Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market. “Technology is no longer just a supporting element in travel; it is now central to how the entire journey is imagined, delivered, and improved.”
Tech hub and future stage
At the centre of ATM Travel Tech will be the Tech & Innovation Hub, an 850-square-metre space featuring product demos, interactive zones, and immersive showcases. The hub will also house the Future Stage, a 250-seat theatre for keynote sessions, expert panels, and startup pitches.
More than 25 sessions and 30 tech demos are planned, covering topics such as immersive technology, robotics, green innovation, and cybersecurity.
“The Future Stage will serve as a launchpad for ideas, ranging from practical applications of new technology to bold predictions about the future of travel,” Curtis added.
“Our goal is to ignite a dialogue among creators, investors, and operators, advancing the conversation into the coming decade.”
Growth in travel tech
The decision to launch ATM Travel Tech as a separate feature comes as global demand for travel technology continues to grow. Research and Markets reports the sector was worth US$10.7 billion in 2024, with projections to reach US$18.6 billion by 2033.
New tools like AI-based personalisation, augmented and virtual reality, and digital payment systems are playing a bigger role in how travel is planned, purchased, and experienced.
ATM 2026 will also host an expanded IBTM @ ATM, connecting the global MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) sector with the Middle East market, and the ATM Ultra Luxury Lounge, aimed at high-net-worth travellers and luxury experience providers.
Arabian Travel Market, now in its 33rd edition, is one of the largest travel trade events in the region, attracting over 55,000 professionals from 166 countries and more than 2,800 exhibitors across the full tourism value chain.
