Dubai hosted the first edition of the Artificial Intelligence Awards, bringing together global leaders, innovators, and decision-makers from the technology sector. The event marked a new addition to the city’s growing calendar of technology-focused gatherings.
The awards ceremony was organised by M.M.M International and chaired by media figure Wassim Mandil. It took place at Palazzo Versace Dubai and welcomed senior executives, artificial intelligence specialists, and award recipients from different parts of the world.
Participants attended from countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway, France, Austria, several European states, the Gulf region, as well as Singapore, China, and East Asia.
Global participation highlighted
The organisers said the international attendance reflected the global reach of artificial intelligence and the role of cross-border cooperation in advancing the sector. The event focused on recognising work that applies AI to real-world challenges across industries.
During his address, Wassim Mandil said the Artificial Intelligence Awards aim to recognise creative and innovative minds contributing to a smarter, more sustainable, and more humane future. He also noted that Dubai provides an environment suited to hosting international initiatives in emerging technologies.
Wide sector recognition
Awards were presented across multiple sectors, including healthcare, universities and higher education, investment and digital trading, smart devices, autonomous vehicles, industry, real estate, agriculture, e-commerce, fashion, and media. Film, advertising, and entertainment projects using artificial intelligence were also recognised.
According to the organisers, the event marks the beginning of a series of international initiatives planned by M.M.M International to support collaboration among AI innovators, institutions, and companies worldwide.
