Thousands of music fans gathered at Etihad Arena as Indian playback singer Arijit Singh performed live in the UAE capital, marking the opening event of Pantheon Development’s newly launched ICON Series.
The concert brought together families, long-time residents, and first-time attendees, reflecting the UAE’s diverse audience base and its growing demand for large-scale live music events.

ICON Series launch
The concert marked the first event under Pantheon Development’s ICON Series, which the company describes as a cultural initiative alongside its real estate projects.
“We didn’t start ICON Series to tick a box,” said Pantheon Founder Kalpesh Kinariwala. “Culture builds communities, and communities build cities. That night, seeing families and strangers sing together – I knew this was why ICON exists.”
Attendees included long-time UAE residents, recent arrivals, parents attending with children, and younger audiences discovering live concerts. The event highlighted Abu Dhabi’s position as a regional hub capable of hosting major international performances while drawing emotionally engaged audiences.
The success of the concert adds to the UAE’s growing reputation as a key destination for global music tours. Etihad Arena, one of the country’s largest indoor venues, continues to attract major artists and large audiences, reinforcing the emirate’s role in the regional entertainment landscape.
