Waldorf Astoria Residences on Yas Island

Aldar has announced the launch of Waldorf Astoria Residences Yas, a new luxury residential development on Yas Island and the first of its kind in Abu Dhabi.

Branded homes on Yas Island

The development marks the debut of Waldorf Astoria branded residences in the UAE capital and introduces the first branded residential offering on Yas Island. The project will include 133 fully furnished homes, set across three buildings designed by Nordic Office Architects.

Positioned between Yas Links Golf Course and Yas Marina Circuit, the residences offer views of both mangrove forests and waterfront attractions.

Luxury with global design

The homes range from one- to three-bedroom apartments, one-bedroom duplexes, and four-bedroom penthouses. Interiors have been designed by London-based KZ Design Services and feature high-end finishes with spacious layouts.

Aldar says the residences are built to reflect biophilic design principles, aiming to connect the indoors with the surrounding landscape.

Hospitality-inspired living

Residents will have access to a full suite of services typically associated with Waldorf Astoria hotels, including 24/7 personal concierge support. Shared facilities include a Peacock Alley-inspired lounge, wellness spa, swimming pool, cinema, and various entertainment areas, such as a kids club and simulator room.

Jonathan Emery, Chief Executive Officer of Aldar Development, said: “As the first Waldorf Astoria Residences in Abu Dhabi and the first ever branded residential product on Yas Island, Waldorf Astoria Residences Yas is set to become the most enviable address on the island, offering residents unmatched luxury, an iconic lifestyle and signature experiences.”

Focus on sustainability

The development aims for high sustainability ratings, including a 3 Pearl Estidama and 2 Star Fitwel certification. Aldar plans to use low-carbon construction materials and has designed the buildings to be 35% more energy efficient and 45% more water efficient than standard benchmarks.
