UAE: Air Arabia to accept crypto payments for flight bookings

Air Arabia will launch direct daily flights from Sharjah to Krabi, Thailand, starting November 28, 2025, the airline announced.

The new route will mark the low-cost carrier’s third destination in Thailand, after Bangkok and Phuket.

Sharjah to Krabi flights

The service will connect Sharjah International Airport with Krabi International Airport, enhancing access to southern Thailand’s coastline. Krabi is known for its beaches, islands, and appeal to both leisure and adventure travellers.

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, said: “We are pleased to expand our network in Thailand with the launch of our new direct service to Krabi, a destination that offers strong appeal for both leisure and adventure travellers. With the growing demand for travel to Southeast Asia, this new route reaffirms our commitment to providing affordable and convenient air travel while continuously investing in expanding our global reach.”

Expanding Southeast Asia reach

The move supports Air Arabia’s continued expansion in Southeast Asia, a region experiencing increasing travel demand. With Krabi now on the schedule, the airline strengthens its position in Thailand’s tourism market.

Fleet and services

Air Arabia operates a fleet of 83 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. Passengers on board have access to ‘SkyTime’ for free in-flight streaming and ‘SkyCafe’, the airline’s onboard meal service. The airline also offers ‘Air Rewards’, a loyalty programme for earning and spending points.
