ADCOOP announces Ramadan discount on over 4,000 essential items

ADCOOP has announced price cuts on more than 4,000 essential items as part of its Ramadan 2026 campaign, offering discounts of up to 60 percent to help families manage higher household spending during the Holy Month.

The campaign represents a total investment of Dhs20 million and aligns with the UAE’s designation of 2026 as the Year of the Family.

Ramadan discounts

The retailer said the campaign includes dedicated Ramadan price reductions on around 1,500 key products, alongside broader value offers available across its store network and digital platforms. The discounts are aimed at supporting households during a period of increased seasonal demand.

Iftar initiatives

As part of its community-focused Ramadan efforts, ADCOOP will distribute 30,000 free Iftar meals across the emirate. It will also make 12,000 pre-packed Ramadan essentials boxes available through its stores and online channels, priced at Dhs99 and Dhs149.

Food access support

ADCOOP will support the Abu Dhabi Citizens’ Food Products Program during Ramadan, ensuring the availability of essential food items across its stores in coordination with the Department of Municipalities and Transport. The retailer will also continue its support for the Khalifa Foundation through contributions to local humanitarian initiatives focused on food accessibility.

Community engagement is also a key part of the campaign. Through its Ramadan Market in Shamkha, ADCOOP will provide a platform for Emirati women entrepreneurs to showcase locally made products, highlighting traditional craftsmanship and supporting small businesses during the Holy Month.

Local produce

The campaign also places emphasis on supporting local agriculture. ADCOOP said its private-label brands will continue to prioritise UAE-grown and locally sourced produce, offering fresh food options at competitive prices throughout Ramadan.

Speaking at a press conference at ADCOOP Head Office, Bertrand Loumaye, Retail CEO of ADCOOP, said: “At ADCOOP, our role goes beyond retail. As a community-centered food retailer, we are focused on ensuring consistent access to essential, high-quality food at prices families can rely on, particularly during periods of peak demand such as Ramadan. This campaign reflects our ability to combine scale, operational strength, and purpose, delivering value to customers while supporting national initiatives and reinforcing food accessibility across the Emirate.”

He added that ADCOOP will continue to offer fast delivery services through the ADCOOP app, as well as Instashop and Talabat, supported by an expanded online product range to meet increased Ramadan demand.
