Dubai’s Museum of the Future has received more than 20,000 applications for its new recruitment campaign in just 48 hours, with candidates able to apply without previous museum or customer-service experience.

Museum of the Future opens doors to new talent

Launched on October 21, the “Future Perfects” initiative aims to recruit people who will help shape the museum’s visitor experience when it reopens in 2027.

The campaign recorded 42,000 website visits during its first 48 hours, according to the museum.

Rather than focusing on traditional qualifications and work experience, the recruitment drive prioritises qualities such as curiosity, imagination, emotional intelligence, warmth and adaptability.

The approach offers an opportunity for candidates from different professional backgrounds to apply, provided they can demonstrate the qualities the museum is looking for.

What the Future Perfects jobs involve

Successful candidates will join the museum’s Visitor Experience team in full-time roles, helping visitors explore subjects including science, technology, nature, society and the future through personal interactions.

The selection process includes application reviews, assessments, shortlisting and final live auditions before an expert judging panel.

Azza AlNuaimi, COO of the Museum of the Future, said: “The response in the first 48 hours reflects strong interest in career opportunities that recognise human potential beyond what is written on a CV. Dubai has always believed in recognising potential beyond conventional paths, and Future Perfects brings that belief into practice. We believe that what makes someone uniquely human could be exactly what makes them a Future Perfect. Shaping the future requires more than knowledge alone; it requires the ability to make that knowledge meaningful and accessible to others.”

How to apply for Museum of the Future jobs

Applications are open until November 8, 2026, through the official campaign website, Futureperfects.ae.

Applicants do not need previous museum or customer-service experience. The campaign instead focuses on personal qualities and the ability to engage with visitors.

The recruitment drive is part of preparations for the museum’s planned reopening in 2027, when the successful candidates are expected to help deliver its reimagined visitor experience.
