Emaar Development reported a 43% year-on-year increase in net profit for the first half of 2026, with earnings reaching Dhs6.7 billion as the Dubai property developer continued to record strong revenue and sales.
Revenue rose 34% to Dhs13.3 billion between January and June, while EBITDA increased 42% to Dhs7.1 billion, according to the company’s results.
The company said its performance was supported by project execution and continued demand across its Dubai communities, despite global economic and geopolitical developments.
Sales reach Dhs22.4 billion
Emaar Development recorded Dhs22.4 billion in property sales during the first six months of the year.
The company said sales volumes reflected a measured pace amid changing geopolitical conditions, while pricing remained stable across its communities and new project launches.
Its revenue backlog stood at Dhs127.7 billion at the end of June, an 8% increase from the same period in 2025. The backlog represents revenue from contracted sales that has yet to be recognised.
Dubai projects continue
Construction across Emaar Development’s ongoing projects continued according to schedule during the first half of 2026, the company said.
Emaar has a land bank of about 287 million square feet for mixed-use developments. The wider Emaar group has also announced a new Dhs200 billion masterplan, adding to its long-term development pipeline in Dubai.
The company said it continued to focus on customer experience, digital services, technology and AI-based initiatives across its operations.
Dhs200 million community support
Emaar Development contributed Dhs200 million to national community initiatives during the first half of 2026.
The contribution was divided equally between two endowment funds supporting orphans and vulnerable groups across the UAE.
The company also said sustainability measures remained part of its development plans, including resource-efficient design and environmental considerations.
