flydubai has announced it will begin double-daily flights to Bangkok starting 15 September 2026. The new service will operate from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Don Mueang International Airport (DMK), further expanding the airline’s reach in Southeast Asia.
Flight details and fares
Flights will be operated from Terminal 3 at Dubai International. Return Business Class fares from DXB to DMK will start at Dhs 9,000, while Economy Class Lite fares begin at Dhs 2,500. For flights from DMK to DXB, return Business Class fares start at THB 64,000, with Economy Class Lite fares from THB 22,000.
This service marks a significant step in flydubai’s ongoing expansion, bringing more travel options to passengers in the UAE and beyond.
This new route marks flydubai’s second destination in Thailand, complementing its existing services to Krabi. With the addition of 14 extra flights per week, the airline’s total weekly operations to Thailand will now reach 28.
Don Mueang International Airport, located just north of Bangkok’s city center, serves as a major hub for both business and leisure travel. The airport’s strategic location offers convenient access to the capital and surrounding areas, making it a key gateway for international travellers.
flydubai is also enhancing its onboard services as part of its ongoing efforts to improve customer satisfaction. Passengers will have access to comfortable seating, a diverse selection of international meals, and in-flight entertainment options, whether flying in Economy or Business Class.
The double-daily flights from DXB will be available as part of the flydubai and Emirates codeshare partnership. This will allow passengers to enjoy streamlined travel, including a single ticket, baggage check-in, and access to a combined network of over 240 global destinations.
Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer at flydubai, commented, “Thailand remains a very popular destination for both leisure and business travel. The launch of our double-daily service to Bangkok reflects continued demand across our network and underscores our commitment to providing our customers with more convenient and flexible travel options.”
He added that the codeshare agreement with Emirates will ensure seamless connectivity for passengers traveling through Dubai from destinations across the GCC, Europe, and beyond.
