Final preparations are under way for the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, with organisers confirming that boats and exhibitors have begun taking their places at ADNEC Marina ahead of the 2025 edition opening this week.
The show will run from November 20 to 23 at ADNEC Marina Hall under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region. ADIBS is organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, and will feature live entertainment, waterfront attractions and family activities.
ADNEC Group said the marina has been upgraded with extended docks to accommodate more boats and yachts this year. The expansion is part of the group’s plan to enhance the venue’s capacity for large-scale marine events.
Exhibitors and boats
Now in its seventh year, ADIBS 2025 will host its highest number of boats to date. Local exhibitors include Abu Dhabi Maritime, Abu Dhabi Ship Building, Al Shaali Marine and Yas Marina. International companies such as Bavaria AG from Germany, Sunreef Venture S.A from Poland and EGW Sports LTD (Italia Yacht) from Italy will also take part.
Organisers said the wide exhibitor list reflects the show’s growing international profile and Abu Dhabi’s position as a hub for marine and leisure events.
Visitor experience
ADNEC Marina Hall is one of the few venues in the region that can host indoor, outdoor and on-water displays at the same time. This year’s programme will include demonstrations on the water and activities for visitors of all ages. Lifeguards and health and safety teams will be stationed across the site.
ADNEC Centre’s operations team has introduced a traffic management plan and strengthened security measures for the four-day event. Capital 360 Event Experiences, a subsidiary of ADNEC Group, has built custom exhibition stands for participating companies.
As preparations conclude, ADNEC Group said it is ready to welcome visitors, exhibitors and marine enthusiasts to this year’s show, which is set to highlight new developments in boating and marine technology.
