Dubai’s real estate brokerage sector posted a sharp increase in activity during the first half of 2025, driven by higher transaction volumes and an expanding base of registered brokers.

Transaction value doubles

Real estate brokers in Dubai facilitated 42,181 property transactions in the first six months of 2025, earning commission fees totaling over Dhs3.23 billion. This marks a 99% increase compared to the Dhs1.62 billion recorded in the same period last year, according to figures from the Dubai Land Department.

The surge aligns with a rise in the number of registered brokers, which now totals 29,577. Among them, 6,714 new brokers entered the sector in H1 2025 alone—highlighting continued interest in the profession and its growing role in supporting real estate investments.

Women expand presence

Women now make up a significant portion of the brokerage community. A total of 10,100 female brokers were active in H1 2025, completing 13,424 transactions and generating nearly Dhs1.43 billion in commission income. Their increased presence reflects broader participation in real estate deal-making and client engagement.

Beyond transactions, brokers have played an important role in connecting investors, developers, and buyers—helping to improve market transparency and guide decision-making. As of mid-2025, Dubai had 1,223 registered brokerage offices and 78 property valuation offices, which employed 118 licensed valuers.

Support from service offices

Real Estate Registrations and Services Trustees Offices also contributed significantly. The 2,426 registered offices facilitated 114,848 transactions in H1 2025, serving 86,398 customers—a 15% increase in customer count compared to the first half of 2024.

The brokerage and valuation sector continues to be a key pillar of Dubai’s property market, supporting investor confidence and reinforcing the emirate’s global real estate profile through its integrated and regulated services.
