Etihad Airways has announced the addition of three new destinations to its global network, continuing its efforts to connect Abu Dhabi with more cities across Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia.

Seasonal flights to Kazan, Russia will start in December 2025, while services to Krakow, Poland and Salalah, Oman are set to begin in summer 2026.

New destinations overview

Each new route adds distinctive appeal to Etihad’s growing network. Krakow, known for its UNESCO-listed heritage and vibrant culture, offers visitors a rich historical experience.

Salalah is recognised for its lush green landscapes during the Khareef monsoon season, making it a unique summer destination in Oman.

Kazan, a major tech and sports hub in Russia’s Tatarstan region, combines historical landmarks with modern facilities.

Details of the new routes

Krakow flights will launch on 15 June 2026. It will become Etihad’s second destination in Poland after Warsaw, which began operations earlier this year. Visitors can explore Krakow’s Gothic architecture, Renaissance palaces, and the medieval Main Square, as well as nearby natural attractions like the Tatra Mountains.

Services to Salalah are scheduled to start on 21 May 2026. The city is known for its cool climate and green mountains during the summer monsoon, attracting families from the Gulf and travellers from Europe and Asia seeking new experiences.

Kazan flights will commence on 4 December 2025. The city’s Kazan Kremlin, mosques, and cathedrals reflect its mixed Tatar-Russian history, while its modern venues regularly host international events.

Network growth and future plans

Etihad has recently launched flights to four new destinations this year — Prague, Warsaw, Sochi, and Atlanta — and plans to introduce another 13 routes before the end of 2025.

With these additions, Etihad will serve more than 90 destinations worldwide, offering passengers award-winning service and smooth connections through Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport.
