Air Arabia connects Sharjah with Polish city of Krakow

Air Arabia starts direct Sharjah to Athens flights

Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) operator, marked the inauguration of its first flight to Krakow in Poland connecting Sharjah International Airport and Krakow John Paul II International Airport with a frequency of daily flights.

An inaugural ceremony was held at Sharjah Airport prior to departure and was attended by Jakub Slawek, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the United Arab Emirates along with senior representatives from Air Arabia and Sharjah International Airport.

Upon arrival at Krakow Airport, the inaugural flight was also greeted with the traditional water cannon salute and a welcome ceremony underscoring the significance of this milestone.

Sharjah to Poland flights

Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia said: “We are excited to launch our inaugural flight from Sharjah to Krakow, marking another milestone in our growth journey. This new route demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with affordable travel options and broadens our network to a bustling location like Kraków. We are confident that the new daily service connecting both cities will also contribute to strengthening the trade and tourism ties between both nations.”

Air Arabia operates a modern fleet of 74 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, the most modern and best-selling single aisle aircraft in the world. Offering passengers, a value-added onboard experience, the aircraft is equipped with ‘SkyTime’, a free in-flight streaming, and ‘SkyCafe’ an onboard catering service at affordable prices. In addition, Air Arabia offers ‘Air Rewards’ an innovative and generous loyalty programme through which passengers can earn, transfer, and spend points.
