UAE-based companies now have a new option for managing employee transport as Yango Ride expands its business services in Abu Dhabi to include city taxis.
The new feature allows corporate clients to centrally book, monitor, and manage taxi rides for staff, offering more control and potential cost savings.
Centralized ride platform
Yango Ride, part of the international Yango Group, is offering this service through its cloud-based business platform.
Companies using the system can set custom travel policies, approve rides in advance, and receive monthly invoices with detailed reporting.
The aim is to reduce administrative work tied to reimbursements and individual bookings.
According to the company, businesses could save up to 30% on corporate travel compared to traditional methods.
Supporting smart mobility
The launch builds on Yango Ride’s B2B rollout in 2024 across both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. In Dubai, companies already have access to Premier and Elite ride classes.
In Abu Dhabi, the addition of city taxis complements the existing Comfort tariff option.
“Abu Dhabi was recently named the fourth-best city globally for public transport, creating the ideal environment to bridge the gap between public mobility and private sector needs,” said Islam Abdul Karim, Regional Head of Yango Middle East.
“Taxis are often the most practical and affordable car option, yet companies still book them ad hoc, without visibility or control.”
Ivan Kaplunovich, Head of Yango Ride for business, added: “Abu Dhabi has taken major steps to reshape its transport ecosystem… By integrating taxis into our B2B platform, we’re enabling businesses to support this initiative and offer an efficient way to manage employee transport.”
Features and integration
The platform also integrates with internal HR and travel systems via API, allowing for automated access control and budget settings. Each corporate client receives a dedicated account manager and 24/7 support.
Used across more than 15 sectors — including finance, IT, and logistics—the solution aligns with ongoing work between Yango Ride, the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), and Abu Dhabi Mobility.
