WOW Resorts signs construction deal for JW Marriott project

WOW Resorts has signed agreements for the construction of the JW Marriott Al Marjan Island Resort and JW Marriott Residences Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, marking a key step in the development of the mixed-use luxury project.

The signing ceremony took place at The St. Regis Downtown Dubai in Business Bay and was attended by executives from WOW Resorts, China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC), and Edifice Middle East.

Construction partners

WOW Resorts said CRBC will oversee construction works for the project, while Edifice Middle East has been appointed as the contractor in Ras Al Khaimah.

The development includes a hotel and branded residences on Al Marjan Island. According to the company, it will be the first JW Marriott-branded residential property in the GCC.

Project details

The project has been designed by Beverly Hills-based architect Tony Ashai, with Dubai-based Architecture Design Unit serving as lead consultant.

The development will include one- to four-bedroom residences, penthouses and hotel rooms overlooking the Arabian Gulf. Planned facilities include seven dining outlets, a spa, swimming pools, a fitness centre and a private lagoon.

One Broker Group has been named as the exclusive sales partner for the project.

Anwar Aman, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of WOW Resorts, said the project aims to create a hospitality and residential destination that reflects Ras Al Khaimah’s growing tourism and real estate sector.

Bhupender “Bruce” Patel, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of WOW Resorts, said the partnership with CRBC and Edifice Middle East would support the delivery of the large-scale waterfront development on Al Marjan Island.
