talabat has launched a new initiative offering free cloud kitchen spaces to support homegrown restaurant brands across the country.

Under the programme, 100 cloud kitchen spaces will be provided at no rental cost until September 2026. The move is aimed at helping UAE-founded restaurants expand their reach and continue serving customers.

Restaurants that qualify will be able to use the spaces to grow their delivery operations without the burden of rental expenses.

The company said the initiative is designed to support local businesses that contribute to employment, supply chains, and the wider food sector in the UAE.

By reducing operating costs and offering ready-to-use infrastructure, the programme seeks to help restaurants scale operations and reach more customers.

Eligibility rules

To qualify, brands must have been founded in the UAE and operating for at least 24 months. They must also show at least 12 months of delivery activity on any platform and run at least one physical outlet in the country.

Simonida Subotic, Managing Director of talabat UAE, said: “Homegrown restaurants are at the heart of the UAE’s food scene, and supporting their growth is a priority for us. With this initiative, we’re removing key barriers and giving our partners the space and visibility they need to scale, while continuing to strengthen the wider ecosystem.”

The initiative also aims to support job stability, strengthen local supply chains, and maintain diversity in the UAE’s food sector.
