Sobha Realty offers 120-day maternity leave for UAE staff

Sobha Realty has introduced a new maternity leave policy that significantly extends support for working mothers, offering 120 days of fully paid leave — double the amount mandated by UAE Labour Law.

The new policy exceeds the UAE’s legal requirement of 60 days and is now among the most generous in the country’s private real estate sector. All other employment benefits will remain intact during the maternity leave period.

Support for working mothers

Sobha Realty is the first real estate developer in the UAE to implement a maternity leave policy of this scale. The move aims to provide greater support to female employees and reflects the company’s focus on fostering a more inclusive and employee-friendly workplace.
