Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan will receive the Global Style Icon award at the Dubai Mall Global Fashion Awards, scheduled to take place later this month as part of the Dubai Mall Festival of Fashion.

The festival will run from January 29 to 30, 2026, marking a two-day fashion programme at Dubai Mall. The Global Fashion Awards ceremony will be held on January 30 at Armani Hotel Dubai, where Khan is expected to attend and accept the award.

Organised by Lana, the Dubai Mall Festival of Fashion brings together fashion, culture and creative industries at one of the world’s most visited retail destinations. The event forms part of a wider push to position Dubai as a regional hub for fashion and design.
Shah Rukh Khan is regarded as one of the most influential figures in global cinema, with a career spanning more than 30 years and over 100 films. His films have generated more than $1 billion at the global box office. Beyond acting, Khan runs Red Chillies Entertainment, a production company known for its work in film production and visual effects.
He is also involved in sports and education ventures, including Knight Rider Sports and KidZania. Over the years, Khan has received several international and state honours for his contribution to arts and culture.
Event programme
The first day of the festival will feature ticketed masterclasses led by fashion and beauty professionals, offering public access to industry-led discussions and workshops. The second day will conclude with a runway presentation followed by the Global Fashion Awards ceremony, recognising achievements across fashion, beauty and cultural influence.
