A Dubai resident has won a studio apartment through the “Win Your Home in Dubai” initiative, becoming the sixth winner of the citywide shopping campaign.

Sixth winner announced

Stacey Bukhantseva, originally from Russia, has lived in Dubai since 2013 and said the win marks the first time she has owned a home.

Bukhantseva entered the draw after a shopping trip to Mall of the Emirates in early June. She received a call about her win a month later while at work but initially verified the news with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) before accepting it.

“I am lost for words. I never imagined that a shopping trip could lead to owning a home. I honestly thought the call wasn’t real and had to verify it myself because it felt impossible.”

“You come to Dubai with hopes and dreams, hoping to build something meaningful, and somehow this city continues to surprise you. In a way, what I was set to do and achieve is becoming real. This is the first home I have ever owned, and it means more than words can express. I feel incredibly grateful to be part of something so special in a city that I truly admire”, she added.

Campaign details

The “Win Your Home in Dubai” initiative is organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), part of Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), in partnership with Dubai Chambers. The campaign offers shoppers the chance to win one of 12 residential units from Binghatti Developers.

The next weekly draws will take place on August 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 at Dubai Festival City Mall from 5pm to 7pm. Each weekly draw will award one studio apartment, while the final draw will feature a two-bedroom apartment.

How to enter

The campaign runs until August 30, 2026. Residents and visitors aged 18 and above can participate by spending Dhs500 at more than 1,000 brands across over 3,500 retail outlets in Dubai.

Participants can enter by scanning the QR code available at participating stores and uploading their receipts. Each entry remains eligible throughout the campaign and also qualifies for weekly draws to win one of four luxury staycations in Dubai.
