Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT), is set to make a strong impression at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 World Trade Centre in Dubai from April 28 April to May 1.
The delegation, led by Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, includes 37 leading tourism companies and hotel establishments from across the Sultanate.
Oman’s participation highlights its ongoing commitment to strengthening global tourism connections. As part of MHT’s 2025 promotional strategy, the goal is to position Oman as a top destination for travellers seeking authentic experiences, strategic partnerships, and luxury offerings.
Tourism growth focus
Azzan bin Qassim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of Tourism at MHT, said: “ATM serves as a vital platform for Omani businesses to connect with international partners and explore collaboration opportunities.”
He emphasized Oman’s focus on luxury, adventure, and sustainable tourism to create competitive products for global markets.
Oman’s tourism sector has experienced steady growth, supported by investments in infrastructure, hospitality, and cultural events. This participation also aligns with Oman Vision 2040, which aims to enhance the country’s global competitiveness and attract quality tourism investments.
Sustainability and innovation
ATM 2025 is expected to attract more than 55,000 visitors and feature over 2,800 exhibitors from 161 countries. The conference will host leading travel experts and hospitality executives discussing industry trends, including the evolving preferences of younger luxury travellers and the rising importance of sustainability.
Sustainability is becoming a major focus across the GCC, with eco-conscious hotel initiatives gaining momentum. Oman continues to stand out by offering a blend of heritage, culture, and unspoiled natural beauty — appealing to travellers seeking meaningful, responsible tourism experiences.
By participating in ATM 2025, Oman reinforces its position as a distinctive and competitive player in the global tourism landscape.
