Jumeirah has added one of the world’s best-known sailing superyachts to its ultra-luxury portfolio through a new partnership that brings The Maltese Falcon under the Jumeirah Privé banner.

New yachting move

The agreement marks Jumeirah’s entry into luxury yachting as The Maltese Falcon becomes the second experience in the Jumeirah Privé collection, alongside Jumeirah Thanda Island. The portfolio focuses on exclusive escapes offering privacy supported by the brand’s hospitality standards.

Jumeirah said the onboard offering will mirror the group’s approach across its global properties, including its culinary concepts, wellness services and personalised guest experience.

Superyacht features

The 88-metre Maltese Falcon is one of the most recognisable sailing yachts in the world, noted for its design, engineering and more than 18 international awards since 2006. Its DynaRig system includes three rotating carbon-fibre masts that can deploy 2,400 square metres of sail within minutes.

Future itineraries

Under Jumeirah Privé, the yacht will begin sailing in December 2025 from Antigua, operating seasonal routes between the Mediterranean and Caribbean. Planned summer destinations include the Balearic Islands, the French Riviera, Monaco, the Amalfi Coast, Sardinia, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Türkiye. Winter routes will return to Caribbean destinations such as Antigua, The Bahamas, Saint Martin and St. Barth.

Thomas B. Meier, Chief Executive Officer of Jumeirah, said, “The Maltese Falcon marks an exciting chapter for Jumeirah Privé, extending our reach into the world of luxury yachting. Designed for the most discerning travellers, this collaboration reflects our commitment to creating distinctive and purposeful experiences that combine privacy, exclusivity and exceptional service.”

Jumeirah said it remains on track to double its portfolio by 2030 as part of its strategy to grow in key regional and global markets while enhancing guest experiences through design, wellbeing and purposeful hospitality.
