Home Centre offers Dhs3,000 vouchers to rain-affected residents in UAE

Inspired by a deep commitment to uplifting the UAE community, Home Centre has launched its “Restore, Rebuild, Renew” campaign. With a shared purpose, Home Centre and Channel4 Radio Network, two home grown brands, have united to aid residents whose homes and spirits have been affected by the recent floods.

They aim of the campaign is to extend heartfelt support to bring back the comfort of residents’ homes.

Home Centre is distributing vouchers worth Dhs3,000 to the affected families and individuals as they navigate through the aftermath of the storm. These will be redeemable at any Home Centre store across the UAE.

Home Centre’s open letter

In their recent open letter on Instagram, Home Centre captured the sentiment that challenging times bring people closer.

“This is truer than ever in this time when the nation faced one of the heaviest rainfalls. Our country’s leadership, various civic authorities, businesses, and communities have joined forces to help those impacted by the unprecedented weather.

“We are deeply moved by the resilience and spirit of unity displayed by our community in the UAE,” expressed Sameer Jain, CEO Home Centre.

“We understand how much your home means to you, and we are committed to helping you rebuild and restore your homes,” Jain added.

“We at Home Centre along with the Channel4 Radio Network, are dedicated to providing unconditional assistance to those that have been affected the most,” said Abdulla Mohammed Al Murad Chairman of Channel4 Radio Network.

“If you or someone you know has been affected, we urge you to tune into the Channel 4 Radio Network; Channel4 104.8 FM, Radio4 89.1 FM, Al Rabia 107.8 FM and Gold 101.3 FM to know more about how you can access this support,” it said.

Earlier, Dubai retailer Union Coop extended its support to the community affected by recent weather disturbances, aligning with governmental relief efforts.

In collaboration with the “Furjan Dubai” initiative, Union Coop provided essential food items to affected families in Al Rashidiya and Al Barsha South, addressing immediate needs.

Dubai’s Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Hamdan has also approved a series of initiatives and measures to urgently mitigate the impact of the severe weather in Dubai, which were formulated at a recent meeting he held with heads of government entities.

According to the guidelines issuded by Sheikh Hamdan, all residential management companies and real estate developers will offer the following services at no additional charges: alternative housing for residents affected by the weather; distribution of food within affected communities; comprehensive pest control services; enhanced security to ensure safety of residents; assistance with returning to residential properties, including interior cleaning services; monitoring and documenting damages caused by the rains during the insurance coverage period; and assistance in assessing potential risks to properties.
