Foodies, culinary converge on Sharjah for Al Qasba Food Festival

Indulge in a culinary journey around the world at the “World of Flavours – Al Qasba Food Festival” during Ramadan 2023. Running from March 30 to April 8, 2023, foodies and cooking enthusiasts alike can enjoy an array of mouth-watering dishes and delicacies from different countries in Al Qasba, a family destination under Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq).

Sponsored by Sharjah Commerce & Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) and Sharjah Co-operative Society, Al Qasba Food Festival invite residents and tourists to join exceptional festival that brings together culinary experts and foodies from across the region from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am.

The festival feature prizes distribution, various food stalls and vendors showcasing cuisines from the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Yemen, Egypt, Lebanon, India, Sri Lanka, Korea, Italy, Mexico, Thailand, Turkey, Japan, and China.

In addition to Culinary and F&B competitions, mocktail making, ice, chocolate and fruit carving, bread decoration, and kids workshops.

Al Qasba Food Festival

The festival will also include roaming entertainment such as mascots, acrobats, jugglers, and music, which will be adding to the festival’s atmosphere.

Celebrities at the food festival

Guests will have the chance to meet the Emirati chef Hanan Al Dawla and the international Greek chef Alexanros Pavloboulos, influencer Khalid Al Matrooshi and Emirati actor Abdullah Saeed bin Haider; there will also be displays and participations including, Dr Nutrition, Hannover Medical Center, Fitness First, Life Pharmacy, Sharjah Institute for Heritage, Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, and Sharjah Old Cars Club.
