Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 is underway with Dhs 20 million in prizes and major discounts across the city. Now in its 28th edition, the summer shopping festival runs until August 31 and features raffles, loyalty rewards, and family-friendly promotions in malls and retail outlets throughout Dubai.
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), this year’s DSS introduces one of the largest prize pools in the festival’s history.
Major raffle campaigns
Shoppers can enter a wide range of raffles during DSS 2025. Spending Dhs 200 at participating malls earns a chance to win one of nine Nissan Magnite cars, with winners announced every Friday.
The Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group raffle returns with 30 gold bars up for grabs. Customers who spend Dhs 1,000 or more at participating jewellery outlets are entered into draws for 12-gram bars. An additional draw, the Visa Jewellery Programme, gives 50 winners Dhs 3,500 jewellery vouchers each, totalling Dhs 175,000 in prizes.
Retail offers and sales
Throughout the summer, more than 800 brands and 3,000 stores are offering up to 75% off. Campaigns include Summer Holiday Offers (until July 17), the Great Dubai Summer Sale (July 18–August 10), and Back to School deals (August 11–31).
The Lucky Receipt promotion will reward 210 winners who spend Dhs 300 or more at selected brands, such as Eros, Flormar, EMAX, and The White Company.
Furniture and home décor enthusiasts can visit the Interiors Warehouse Sale at Dubai World Trade Centre (until July 5), featuring brands like Michael Amini and Theodore Alexander.
Loyalty programmes and mall rewards
Alshaya customers can win 1 million AURA loyalty points, while those spending Dhs 300 at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, and City Centre Deira are eligible for SHARE Millionaire draws. Users of the Tickit app linked to Visa or Mastercard will be automatically entered into bi-weekly draws at partner outlets.
Malls across Dubai are offering weekly and season-long prizes. Shoppers at Mercato Shopping Mall or Town Centre Jumeirah can win Dhs 10,000 each week or enter the draw for a Jetour T1 SUV. Dubai Outlet Mall is giving away a Soueast S06 SUV. Dubai Festival City Mall offers a Polestar 4 to one lucky shopper.
Experiences and weekend events
In addition to retail promotions, DSS 2025 features indoor markets, entertainment, and themed experiences. The Ripe Market returns to select locations, and City Walk is hosting weekend music, basketball games, and coffee pop-ups. Mall of the Emirates invites families to Jurassic Café, while City Centre Mirdif’s Voyage Club offers customisation workshops and games for kids.
