As Diwali approaches, Dubai Gold Souk Extension is hosting a series of festive promotions and a gold raffle to mark the occasion.
From October 10 to 26, customers spending Dhs 500 or more at participating gold, jewellery, and watch stores can enter a weekly raffle to win gold coins and bars.
Diwali shopping promotions
The Dubai Gold Souk Extension features more than 295 stores offering a wide range of gold, jewellery, perfumes, and watches. This season, several retailers are providing special offers, including reduced or zero making charges at Popley Jewellers and Ziya Gold & Diamonds. Kanz Jewels is offering 10% off gold prices, while Thangals Jewellery allows customers to lock in the current gold rate by paying just 10% upfront.
Discounts on diamonds and jewellery reach up to 60% at stores like Ziya Gold & Diamonds and Motiwala Gold Jewellers. Other promotions include old gold exchange and shagun offers at Tanishq and an Dhs 100 cash voucher on diamond and gemstone jewellery purchases of Dhs 3,000 or more at Malabar Gold & Diamonds. Select stores will also offer exclusive festive gifts such as complimentary gold coins and diamond rings.
Festive hospitality deals
To complement the shopping experience, several hotels and restaurants within Dubai Gold Souk Extension are running Diwali dining promotions.
Aparthotel Adagio Dubai Deira will host a Diwali Dinner Buffet on October 21 featuring traditional Indian cuisine, priced at Dhs 89 for adults and Dhs 49 for children aged 6 to 11. Novotel Dubai Gold District will hold a Traditional Indian Night buffet on October 20, with prices at Dhs 110 for adults and Dhs 55 for children aged 5 to 11. Participating hotel restaurants are also offering 20% off the total bill throughout the festive period.
Raffle participation details
Customers who spend Dhs 500 or more at any gold, jewellery, or watch store in the Dubai Gold Souk Extension between October 10 and 26 will automatically enter the raffle. One winner will be drawn each week, with a total of two winners receiving gold coins or bars.
The promotions and events aim to combine shopping and hospitality, offering visitors a vibrant atmosphere to celebrate Diwali with family and friends.
