The world’s largest peace conference, the Global Justice, Love & Peace Summit, opened at Expo City Dubai with a powerful call for a new world order based on unity and shared responsibility.
The summit aims to shape a future where justice, peace, and love are not just aspirations but lived realities, with a special emphasis on fostering unity and peace among the youth.
Dubai is poised to make history as it becomes the stage for an unprecedented congregation of 12 Nobel Peace Prize laureates, who will discuss world peace and justice at Expo City Dubai on April 12-13, 2025.
A call for global investment
Delivering the inaugural speech, His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, UAE Parliamentarian and Educator, Chairman of the Defense Affairs, Interior & Foreign Affairs Committee, UAE Federal National Council, urged: “Invest in oneself, family, community, nation, and globally.”
He emphasized the critical role of faith leaders and inclusive dialogue in addressing global challenges, advocating for respect, trust, and partnership among diverse stakeholders.
Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala, Chairman of the World Peacekeepers Movement and organizer of the Summit, shared a powerful message in his keynote address: “Peace is more than the absence of conflict; it is the presence of justice, opportunity, and shared humanity.”
He further urged individuals to take action regardless of their role:
- Policymakers should enact laws that protect the vulnerable.
- Business leaders should prioritize ethical practices.
- Activists should amplify the voices of the unheard.
- Educators should inspire future leaders with wisdom and compassion.
- Every individual should know that even small actions can spark change.
Nobel laureates discuss a new world order
The second day of the summit will feature a session with 12 Nobel Peace Prize laureates, who will discuss a new world order inspired by non-violence, truth, and universal justice. They will propose a framework for a future that ensures equity, dignity, and sustainability for all.
Sheikh Nahayan bin Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Minister of Tolerance & Co-Existence, will be the Chief Guest at this momentous session.
Lech Wałęsa on the necessity of dialogue
Ahead of the summit, Lech Wałęsa, former President of Poland and Nobel Peace Prize laureate, called for a new world order based on peace, justice, and shared human values. He emphasized the importance of building a global framework that harmoniously integrates freedom, human rights, and universally accepted values.
“We are in an era of discussion,” said Wałęsa, “and while we are facing challenges, that discomfort helps us search for better paths forward. It’s through open dialogue that we’ll find common ground.”
A vision for a peaceful future
Themed ‘One Planet, One Voice: Global Justice, Love, and Peace’, the summit will bring together royalties, heads of states, chief justices, top industrialists, business leaders, religious and spiritual leaders, visionaries, renowned authors, thought leaders, sports champions, and film stars, all with a shared mission to foster justice, love, and peace.
Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala, Chairman of the World Peacekeepers Movement, the summit’s organizers, expressed: “We are proud to bring together the Nobel laureates to visualize a paradigm shift—from a world dominated by competition and violence to one driven by collaboration, fairness, justice, and non-violence.”
Importance of social justice
Abdessattar Ben Moussa, lawyer and human rights activist and 2015 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, emphasized the importance of social justice and sustainable economic development in ensuring lasting peace.
“Leaders should invest in education to promote tolerance and mutual respect in the family, school, and community. They should also adopt dialogue and resolve conflicts through peaceful means,” he said.
Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, Former President of Mauritius, who will moderate the session “Beloved Mother Earth, Our Home: Can Love for the Planet Inspire a More Sustainable Future?” on the summit’s first day, also shared her thoughts:
“Without peace, there is no stability, and certainly no prosperity. Peace has, unfortunately, become in some parts of the world a political expediency. But there are examples of economies that have thrived through a culture of peace, where investment has been made in infrastructure and improving livelihoods, as opposed to feeding a war economy.”

The summit will feature prominent figures such as:
- José Manuel Ramos-Horta, President of East Timor & Nobel Peace Laureate (1996)
