After a five-month pause, Dubai Fountain is set to resume shows on October 1, returning as a central attraction in Downtown Dubai.

Known as the world’s largest choreographed fountain system, it will once again offer its signature combination of water, light, and music.

Renovation update

Phase One of the renovation, completed ahead of schedule, involved maintenance work such as tiling, water insulation, and repainting.

These efforts were aimed at preserving the fountain’s appearance and ensuring its safety and reliability. Phase Two, scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2026, will introduce new features designed to enhance the overall visitor experience.

Show timings

Once reopened, the fountain will offer daily afternoon shows at 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm, with extended times on Fridays at 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm. Evening performances will run every 30 minutes from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar, said: “The return of Dubai Fountain is a celebration of Dubai itself – its spirit, its energy, and its ability to inspire the world. This landmark has always brought people together, creating shared moments of wonder and joy. When the fountain reopens, it will remind us once again of what Dubai represents: innovation, ambition, and the creation of experiences that leave a lasting impression on everyone who visits.”

The fountain’s reopening is expected to draw significant interest from residents and tourists, many of whom have been closely following updates and planning visits around the reopening date. With Phase Two renovations underway, visitors can expect new creative and technological features in the near future.
