Taraf, the real estate arm of Yas Holding, has officially broken ground on the Karl Lagerfeld Villas project in Meydan, marking the late fashion designer’s first residential development in the Middle East.

The villa community is located in Nad Al Sheba, facing man-made lagoons and minutes from Downtown Dubai. The development will feature 51 high-end villas ranging from five to seven bedrooms, with plot sizes between 721 sqm and 1,790 sqm.
Inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s Parisian aesthetic and his interest in 18th-century design, the homes are being crafted with custom interiors, full-length pools, and curated amenities. A private clubhouse will offer a library, wellness deck, and other leisure spaces.

This project is Karl Lagerfeld’s fourth residential development globally, joining sites in Marbella, Lisbon, and Melaka, along with a hotel in Macau.
