The Sharjah Municipality has announced the free public parking on Monday, January 1, 2024.
According to the municipality’s announcement on Saturday, the regular paid parking system will resume its operation on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
This temporary exemption provides a one-day reprieve from the usual parking charges as the community welcomes the beginning of the new year.
However, it’s important to note that the exemption does not extend to the seven-day paid parking zones, which remain operational throughout the week, including official holidays.
These zones can be identified by the presence of blue parking information signs. Residents and visitors are encouraged to be mindful of these zones to avoid any inadvertent violations.
