The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) under the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi has released information regarding the operational timings of various services during the UAE 52nd Union Day Holiday.
Parking
MAWAQiF surface parking fees will be waived from Saturday, December 2, 2023, until 7:59 am on Tuesday, December 5. Similarly, parking fees at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot will also be exempted throughout the official holiday period.
Toll System
The ITC has confirmed that the Darb toll gate system will be temporarily free of charge on Saturday, December 2. Toll gate fees will be reinstated on Tuesday, December 5, during peak hours (7 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 7 pm).
Bus Services
Public bus services in Abu Dhabi will adhere to weekend and official holiday schedules during the Union Day holiday. Additional regional and intercity trips will be introduced, especially to facilitate transportation to and from the Sheikh Zayed Festival.
Customer Happiness Centres
ITC’s Customer Happiness Centres will be closed from Saturday, December 2, and will resume operations on Tuesday, December 5. However, customers can conveniently access ITC services online via the ITC website (www.itc.gov.ae), Darbi, Darb websites and apps, and the “TAMM” platform for digital government services in Abu Dhabi.
